Electric Picnic has been accused of "nearly hitting rock bottom" after releasing the full line-up for this year's festival.
Kodaline have been added to the billing alongside Razorlight, King Kong Company and The Riptide Movement.
The 20 new acts announced will join headliners such as The Strokes, Hozier, The 1975 and Florence and The Machine.
However, music fans took to Twitter to voice their disappointment at the announcement.
One person said: "This can not be a serious announcement like last year was a deadly lineup and this year feels like scraping the bottom of the barrel."
A second said: "This is pi** poor. The roots of EP are in the name, the history, the acts!
"I love the festival and will still always go. But listen to the fans! Please EP, we've nearly hit rock bottom."
Another added: "Got Prodigy in the final line-up last year. This year we get Kodaline... What a joke when the line-up is already poor."
A fourth said: "Noooooo... I think you mean Killers, Chemical Brother, anyone but another pop act."
Revellers will descend on Stradbally Hall, Co Laois for the sold-out three-day event between August 30 and September 1.

Full-price tickets for the standout weekend in the Irish music festival calendar sold out in just 15 minutes last December.
It was the first time in the 15 years of the event that tickets have sold out months before the line-up was revealed.
This followed the early bird tickets selling out in September, just hours after going on sale - a mere four days after the festival ended.
This year a record 57,500 people are expected to attend - up from 55,000 in 2018.
The Irish Mirror has contacted Electric Picnic's organisers for comment.
