Elderly woman dies alone at home as police launch search for her family

An appeal has been launched to trace the family of an elderly woman who died alone in her Glasgow home.

Anne Corrins, 81, was found dead within her Sandyhills home at Loch Achray Street 11 days ago, on April 2.

Police Scotland is now appealing for help from members of the public in order to help them trace Ms Corrins' family following her death.

Officers have confirmed that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death.

Anyone with any knowledge of Ms Corrins' relatives is asked to contact Police Scotland's administration department at the London Road Police Office.
