An elderly man was taken to hospital after a two-car smash in Wythenshawe.
Police and paramedics were called to the scene of the crash on Brownley Road just before 11.30am on Monday (January 3).
A man, aged 81, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
He remains in a stable condition, police said.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the crash are ongoing.
Pictures taken at the time of the incident show at least two police vehicles at the scene.
Two cars, including a Mercedes, appeared to have been badly damaged in the crash.
Police are now appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
In a statement, a GMP spokesperson said: "Shortly before 11.30am on Monday 3 January 2021, police were called to reports of a collision between two cars on Brownley Road in Manchester.
"Emergency services attended.
"A 81-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in a stable condition.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
