Elderly man found dead in Schaumburg home: police

A well-being check led police to the man’s body.

Joseph Mariano, 64, was found dead Sunday in the 200 block of Dublin Lane.

Police are conducting a homicide investigation after a 64-year-old man was found dead in northwest suburban Schaumburg.

About 12:13 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to a well-being call in a home in the 200 block of Dublin Lane, Schaumburg police said. There, they found the body of Joseph Mariano.

Following the discovery, a homicide investigation was started, police said.

Anyone with information on the man’s death should call Schaumburg police at 847-882-3534.
