Elderly man and woman found dead at house in Everton

An elderly man and woman have been found dead at a house in Everton.

They were found at a home on Beacon Lane by emergency services at about 11.50am yesterday morning after officers were called to the scene.

The force said the man and woman's deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but added their deaths "are not believed to be suspicious".

The spokeswoman said: "We can confirm that police are investigating two unexplained deaths in Everton yesterday, Monday 1 March.

"At around 11.50am, emergency services were called to a house on Beacon Lane to reports an elderly man and woman had been found deceased.

"Their deaths are currently being treated as unexplained but are not believed to be suspicious.

"The female's next of kin have been informed. Officers are tracing the next of kin for the deceased male."
