A 92-year-old man has been left in a critical condition after he was hit by a van in Hammersmith.
Metropolitan Police officers were called to the corner of the Fulham Palace Road and Nella Road just before 9am on Thursday.
The elderly man was found seriously injured.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the red Volvo tipper truck stopped at the scene and is helping police with their enquiries.
Police are now appealing for witnesses or any drivers with dashcam footage.
Enquiries into the circumstances remain ongoing.
