Elderly man, 82, missing after leaving his house at 11pm

Police are growing 'increasingly concerned' for a 82-year-old man who is missing from home.

George Huddart was last seen at his home in Childwall at around 11pm on Tuesday.

He is described as white male, around 5ft, 8in tall, clean shaven with short grey hair and brown eyes.

He has a missing middle tooth and wears glasses.

When last seen, George was wearing a green jacket, checked shirt, grey trainers and a navy blue baseball cap.

George is known to frequent the Childwall area.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: "We’re appealing for the public’s help to trace 82-year-old George Huddart, who is missing from home.

"George was last seen at his home in Childwall at around 11pm yesterday (Tuesday 12 October).

"He is described as white male, around 5ft, 8in tall, clean shaven with short grey hair and brown eyes. He has a missing middle tooth and wears glasses.

"When last seen, George was wearing a green jacket, checked shirt, grey trainers and a navy blue baseball cap.

"George is known to frequent the Childwall area.

"We are becoming increasingly concerned for George’s welfare and are appealing for anyone who may have seen him to DM @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook or call 101, or call the charity Missing People on 116 000."
