PATTAYA: A 71-year-old Italian man died in a townhouse in Chon Buri's Bang Lamung district, reportedly while having sex with a male parter.
Pattaya police and rescuers of a charity unit rushed to the two-storey townhouse in Suk Sabai Villa housing estate in tambon Nong Prue after the rescuers received a call from the male parter about 30 minutes after midnight on Sunday.
They found the naked body of the Italian, Alberto Pivetti, lying dead by a bed in a bedroom on the upper floor of the townhouse. Pornthep Jaicham, 22, the male parter, was still there when they arrived.
Mr Pornthep told the police that the Italian man called him for a sex service at the townhouse on Saturday night. While they were having sex, the Italian man, while nearing climax, had a sudden shock and went down lying still by the bed. He immediately called the emergency rescue unit.
The police sent the body of the Italian man to the Police Hospital for an autopsy to establish the cause of the death.
Mr Pornthep was invited for questioning as he was the only person who witnessed the Italian's death.
