The body of a 78-year-old fisherman has been found off the Geraldton coast.
The man set off in his four-metre aluminium boat from the Geraldton boat ramp at about 6:00am on Friday.
A family member called police when he failed to return, and a sea search was launched in the afternoon.
The man's body was found in the water several hours later.
Police said family members had been contacted, and officers would now prepare a report for the coroner.
