A animal rescue centre hopes readers of Belfast Live will help find the owners of this elderly dog after he was moved 30 miles from where he was found.
The tan and white bulldog was found wandering alone on Cavehill on Monday.
And the people who discovered him took him to Assisi in Conlig, Co Down , from where the dog warden transported him to Downpatrick.
Now this old chap is waiting at Corran Kennels for his owner to turn up.
But staff at the kennels fear they will not think to search in Downpatrick, considering where he was lost more than 30 miles away on Cavehill, Belfast.
A spokesperson for Corran Kennels said: "If this dog has been lost on Cavehill, it's unlikely his owners would think of contacting the dog pound in Downpatrick.
"But we know the reach that Belfast Live has and we think this is his best chance of being reunited with his family."
