Elderly Brit dies in Pattaya movie theatre

PATTAYA: A 78-year-old British national died in a movie theatre at a shopping complex in Pattaya on Tuesday night.

He was identified as Bernard Wilfred Channing.

Police were informed of the incident about 8pm.

Witnesses said the man bought a ticket to see "Annabelle Comes Home" but he collapsed before the movie started at The Avenue Pattaya shopping mall.

Police were investigating.
