A Mediterranean restaurant and pancake cafe are set to open in Durham city.
El Pincho, which serves up tapas, Greek and Moroccan food, and pancake cafe Flip & Stack are both due to open at The Riverwalk in the next two weeks.
It comes as The Riverwalk fully reopened its restaurants and leisure facilities following the coronavirus lockdown, including the Cosy Club and Old Tom’s Gin Bar.
This comes as the restaurants and bars at The Riverwalk are fully open, including Cosy Club and Old Tom’s.
The Food Pit has begun serving again, offering a range of different food and drink options, including Bubble Waffle Society, the Greek Kitchen, Fresco Durham, the Durham Sausage Company, Durham Sausage & Burger, Mano Thai, and the Fat Chicken, as well as the Food Pit bar.
From this month, customers will be able to take advantage of the Chancellor’s ‘Eat out to help out’ scheme and get up to £10 off their food bill Monday to Wednesday, as well as other exclusive offers.
Customers can also benefit from free parking at The Riverwalk throughout August, including the Bank Holiday at the end of the month.
To ensure the safety of customers and colleagues, additional outdoor seating has been installed to accommodate up to 200 diners.
Customers will also find hand sanitisation stations and social distancing reminders throughout the complex to keep them safe.
Alongside restaurants and bars, the Odeon cinema has also reopened on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, showing the latest releases.
