El Clasico: Sergio Ramos unhappy Barcelona have more rest than Real Madrid

Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos is unhappy that Barcelona will have more rest than Los Blancos ahead of the sides' Clasico clash in La Liga next month.

Barca and Madrid were supposed to meet at Camp Nou on October 26, but the fixture was postponed due to unrest in Catalonia following the sentencing of nine separatist leaders last month.

Both clubs agreed to a new date, December 18, and the match will now take place on that date at 8pm CET (7pm GMT) after confirmation earlier this week from La Liga.

But with Barcelona away to Real Sociedad at 3pm GMT on Saturday, December 14 and Madrid in action against Valencia at Mestalla on Sunday at 8pm GMT, the Catalans will have 29 hours more rest than their rivals ahead of the Clasico on the Wednesday.

"In the end, the only one affected is Real Madrid," Ramos said at a Spain press conference on Thursday.

"But we are affected because we should be playing the same day as Barca and we should have the same amount of rest.

"But in any case, we will go there with enthusiasm and ready to win the game."
