The secret escape route of drug lord Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman has been shown for the first time in bodycam footage.
In a newly released video Mexican marines can be seen smashing through the steel-reinforced front door to Chapo's safehouse before conducting a search.
A hidden set of steps underneath the bath was discovered during the operation, revealed where Guzman's brazen escape was made.
His mistress, Lucero Guadalupe Sanchez Lopez, told a New York courtroom on Friday that Chapo was "naked" when he made his exit.
