EK shopping centre will put frighteners on visitors with spooktastic surprise

Visitors to Scotland’s largest shopping centre are in for a spooky surprise this October break as a selection of ghouls and ghosts take centre stage.

EK, East Kilbride's very own Little Shop of Horrors will welcome little ghouls with skeletons on swings, pumpkins, bats and a very special surprise behind the shop’s trick or treat door.

Brave shoppers will also have the opportunity to take some hair-raising selfies in the haunted house.

And for those who want to show off their terrifying pics, there will be an opportunity to win some special Halloween prizes from ODEON, Aerial Adventures and Nando’s in a spooky Eek EK social media competition.

The Little Shop of Horrors will open its doors on October 9 and run from 11am-3pm on weekends throughout October, plus the school holiday week. Entry is free for those who dare cross the threshold.

A spokesman for EK, East Kilbride said: “What better way to mark All Hallows’ Eve than with a haunted house. I’m sure we will see some fangtastic selfies appearing on social media when the Little Shop of Horrors’ door creaks open.”
