Eir customers are experiencing network issues this afternoon with users unable to make phone calls or send texts.
The phone provider has been busy for the last hour with request after request as to why they cannot get network access on their phones.
Twitter users across the country have been contacting the provider with issues ranging from not being able to send or receive text messages to no 4G coverage.
The provider has now clarified that there is a nationwide issue and they are working to resolve it, Cork Beo reports.
In a tweet they said "We are currently experiencing issues with our mobile data and network in all areas and are looking to get this issue resolved as soon as possible.
"We have no update as of yet but are hoping to get it resolved as soon as possible to avoid further disruption."
