Shkodran Mustafi returns to Arsenal's starting lineup for tonight's Europa League opener against Eintracht Frankfurt.
Unai Emery told Mustafi that he was free to leave Arsenal this summer, but the Germany international backed himself to work his way back into the Spanish coach's plans - and appears to have succeeded.
Mustafi starts at centre-back alongside David Luiz, while Emery has handed chances to Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka further up the field.
Arsenal left Mesut Ozil and Sokratis Papastathopoulos at home, with Emery telling reporting that the pair were left in England to rest following the first five games of the Premier League campaign.
Sokratis has been ever-present so far this season, racking up 450 minutes, with Ozil playing just 71 minutes.
Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazette is still missing through an ankle injury and not expected to return before October.
