Eintracht Frankfurt have been banned from selling tickets to the away match against Aberdeen.
The Bundesliga club were hit with a fan ban by UEFA after unsavoury scenes in the clash against HJK Helsinki.
Frankfurt were penalised by the governing body after objects were thrown and fireworks set off in the visit to Helsinki.
Now, the club will have no away backing for the trip to Pittodrie on December 14.
A UEFA disciplinary update read: "To fine Eintracht Frankfurt €30,000 and to ban Eintracht Frankfurt from selling tickets to its away supporters for its next (1) UEFA competition match, for lighting of fireworks and throwing of objects."
Commenting on the ban, Frankfurt board member Philipp Reschke told Frankfurter Rundschau: “The punishment is harsh, but considering UEFA's previous sanctioning practice, it is not unusual.
“The sanction was expressly imposed not only for the cup throwing but also for the repeated pyrotechnics. Our background was of course the deciding factor here.
“We will discuss the consequences and further action at very short notice."
