Adi Hutter and Eintracht Frankfurt receive huge injury boost ahead of crucial Chelsea clash

Sebastien Haller has handed Eintracht Frankfurt a massive injury boost ahead of their Europa League clash with Chelsea tonight.

The 24-year-old striker has been out of action since the end of March and missed the semi-final first leg last week in Germany.

It was expected that Haller, who has netted 14 Bundesliga goals and added another nine assists, would not feature at all for Adi Hutter's side at Stamford Bridge.

However, Hutter has confirmed that Haller has travelled with the side and that he could make an unexpected return for the game.

"Sebastian Haller, we took him with us," Hutter said. "We took 18 players with us. He has good therapy behind him, he trained yesterday. He is doing well. Possibly he will play tomorrow.

"So then it's not a surprise. You know me, I don't like to talk about my line-ups. If you get this far you want to get to the final. We want to have a fantastic game here."

That would be a massive boost for Eintracht who missed both Haller and key man Ante Rebic for the 1-1 draw in the first game, with the latter suspended for the game.

Along with Luka Jovic, the three have formed a formidable front three over the course of the campaign in Germany, with Rebic adding another nine league goals and highly sought-after Jovic netting 17.

The Serbian has also found the back of the net nine times in the Europa League this season, including in the first leg against the Blues last week.
