Eintracht Frankfurt fans hire seven trucks for Rangers Europa League final tifo in stadium

Rangers' Europa League rivals Frankfurt have hired seven trucks to bring a huge tifo to their end of the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium in Seville.

Eintracht fans will look to make a statement pre-match as they'll show the tifo - a visual display of their choreographed flag, sign and banner in their section of the ground.

The Ibrox outfit are set to face the Bundesliga club on Wednesday night, with thousands of fans set to descend on the Spanish city.

The final will be played at Sevilla's home ground, the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán stadium, which the Gers played at back in December of 2009 in a 1-0 defeat in the Champions League.

Rangers will come into the game as slight underdogs against the German club, who knocked out West Ham in the semi-final, whilst also defeating Barcelona in the quarters.

And the travelling Frankfurt fans will aim to make the ground feel like home as they're set out to bring their own tifo - using seven trucks to transport it from Frankfurt to Seville.

The Scottish Daily Express have reported that the Frankfurt ultras have planned for the banner to arrive as they prepare for a huge display.

The Frankfurt ultras have the reputation of being the noisiest and wildest in the Bundesliga and they’re promising to crank up the volume in tomorrow's showpiece.

A massive security operation is underway to make sure there is no trouble at the big game with Spanish police monitoring social media for indications of disorder.

Supporters will have to pass through three rings of security to enter the stadium for the showdown.
