Eintracht Frankfurt boss reveals how they will stop Eden Hazard in Europa League tie

Eintracht Frankfurt coach Adi Hutter has insisted that his players must 'double up' on Eden Hazard tomorrow night if they are to have any chance of stopping the Belgian.

Hazard will no doubt be Chelsea's main threat during the Europa League semi-final tie over the coming week, with the Blues needing to get a good result at the Commerzbank Arena that they can take to the home leg.

While Hazard has at times been rested by Maurizio Sarri during the course of the competition, there is no doubt that Sarri is going to select his strongest XI in Germany for the semi-final.

And while Hutter was a little bit reluctant to give away any plan early on, the Eintracht chief made it clear what he wanted his players to do against Hazard.

"Yes, I have a plan in my head [to stop Hazard], naturally," Hutter said. "But please, I can't tell it to you here and now. We just have to show it out on the pitch tomorrow.”

However, a few questions later Hutter was asked about the Belgian and he revealed what his players must do to prevent him being a danger for the Germans

“Well, he's one of the best players in the world, a player other big clubs would like to have. In one on one duels, he's very dynamic. You have to double up on him.

"He's a great receiver of balls, so to take him out of the play, we have to try so hard. He's one of the top three players, world-wide, on the wing.”
