A seventh and eighth person have died in the UK after testing positive for coronavirus.
NHS England has confirmed that two patients have died in the UK, bringing the total to eight.
The seventh patient was in their seventies and was being treated for underlying health conditions.
Diane Wake, chief executive of the Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust, said: "The Trust can confirm that a patient in their 70s being treated for underlying health conditions has died.
"The patient had tested positive for Covid-19.
"The family has been informed and our condolences and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
"We will not be commenting further and ask that everybody respects the family's privacy."
The eighth patient, who was elderly, died in Warwickshire and was also being treated for a number of serious underlying health conditions.
Dr Catherine Free, medical director at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, said: "The Trust can confirm that an elderly patient being treated for a number of serious underlying health conditions has died.
"The patient had tested positive for Covid-19.
"The family has been informed and our condolences and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
"We will not be commenting further and ask that everybody respects the family's privacy."
Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Wales today which brings the overall total to 19.
It includes one patient who has no history of travel to a country where the virus is circulating, and is not known to have had contact with another confirmed case.
