Eight-year-old Corgi Cross, who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre seeks a new home

Animal welfare experts are appealing to find a new home for Fossil, an eight-year-old Corgi Cross, who is currently living at Dogs Trust West Calder Rehoming Centre.

His carers say he is a super sweet boy who enjoys a gentle fuss and attention from people he knows.

A spokeswoman for Dogs Trust said: “He loves to play with his favourite squeaky ball and is always keen to go adventurous walks in quiet areas where he can sniff and explore. Fossil is friendly but does prefer a quiet life and can live with children over the age of 16 years old. He is looking for someone to be at home to keep him company throughout the day.

“He is happy to meet other dogs when outside when out on his walks but would prefer to be the only pet in the house. Fossil enjoys his home comforts and keeping warm, he is often found snuggled up in his cosy bed.”

If you think you could provide the perfect home for Fossil or any of the other 50 dogs currently available for rehoming, please contact the centre on 01506 873459.
