Police in the Northern Territory are investigating the death of an eight year-old boy who fell from a caravan in Katherine on Sunday.
NT Police said they received information that the boy had fallen from the caravan while it was being towed about midday, yesterday.
The child suffered serious injuries and was taken to Katherine District Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Major Crash Investigation detectives and local detectives will investigate the incident.
A white Mazda ute and a white Roma caravan involved in the incident have been seized by police.
NT Police urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
