The potato giant Albert Bartlett has revived baked potato restaurant chain Spudulike, which has re-opened eight branches.
It comes after the chain closed all its 37 branches in August after collapsing into administration, which resulted in loss of about 300 jobs.
Sites have reopened in shopping centre locations in Manchester, Leeds, York, Livingstone, Kent, Norwich, Glasgow and Bridgend.
In a statement published on the Spudulike website, it said the new menu will now feature Albert Bartlett potatoes and at lower prices.
It said: “Over the years, Spudulike has had several owners and has operated as a franchise and managed operation.
“However, an exciting new era dawns as our much-loved brand becomes part of the Albert Bartlett portfolio – which means top notch spuds, baked the way you love, at lower prices that will make you smile.”
“If you’d been missing your favourite baked potato fix, you can now find us again at selected shopping centres across the UK.”
