Eight Manchester United youngsters train with first-team ahead of Leicester fixture

Manchester United have been giving youth a chance in training ahead of their trip to face Leicester in the Premier League this weekend.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side return to action after the international break when they travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday to start a gruelling month of fixtures.

United are without a win in either of their last two league matches and know an improvement is essential ahead of a month in which they also face Liverpool and Tottenham before more tough clashes in November.

With many stars away on international duty United have had to get creative in first-team training and took the opportunity to give many of their promising youngsters another taste of senior football.

Eight academy stars were given the chance to train with the first-team on Monday with teenage full-back Marc Jurado among those involved.

Jurado, signed from Barcelona last year, has captained the club's U18 side this season and netted his first goal for the club in victory against Stoke last month.

Academy star strikers Charlie McNeill and Joe Hugill were both also involved in the session where they faced role model Mason Greenwood.

Dillon Hoogewerf continued his upwards trajectory with another appearance alongside Charlie Savage, Alvaro Fernandez, Bjorn Hardley, and Charlie Wellens.

United U21s are next in action when they travel to face Sunderland in the Papa John's Trophy on Wednesday night.
