BHOPAL: Eight new cases of Covid-19 were diagnosed across Madhya Pradesh on Thursday. There are now 131 active cases, across MP. Total tally of Covid-19 infections rose to 7,91,998 according to state health bulletin.
The death toll remained unchanged at 10,514, as no fresh casualties were reported during the day.
The count of recoveries now stands at 7,81,353. With the addition of 76,396 swab samples examined during the day, the total number of tests conducted in Madhya Pradesh rose to 1,52,97,847.
More than 5.61 lakh doses of vaccine to protect against Covid-19 were administered across Madhya Pradesh on Thursday.
Sagar district with 27,207 doses administered had the largest turnout. It was followed by Damoh where 21,542 people got inoculated. In Indore 17,998, Morena 17,946 and Jabalpur 17,700 got the jab on Thursday. Overall vaccination numbers for Madhya Pradesh stand at 3,67,39,380. First dose of the vaccine has been administered to 3,08,20,508 and 59,18,872 people are fully vaccinated, according to government data.
