In order to qualify, candidates had to either submit a petition with 56,000 signatures or pay a filing fee. If the candidate attended the Florida Republican Party’s Freedom Summit event, the candidate was required to pay $25,000, and if the candidate did not attend the event, the candidate was required to pay $100,000. The party must submit this list to the Florida Secretary of State by Nov. 30, 2023.

The following candidates qualified:

  • Ryan Binkley
  • North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum
  • Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie
  • Florida Governor Ron DeSantis
  • Former U.N. Ambassador and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley
  • Former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson
