
Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi received in Cairo on Tuesday Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, reported the Saudi Press Agency.
Sisi hailed Saudi Arabia’s support for Egypt on all levels, asserting that these positions reflect the deep historic bonds and the strong strategic alliance between the two countries.
For his part, al-Sheikh stressed that the Kingdom is keen on strengthening cooperation with Egypt on all levels and on various issues of mutual interest.
He lauded Egypt’s great efforts to support major development and economic projects throughout its territories and hailed its role in supporting security and stability in the Arab region.
The two officials also discussed a number of issues of common interest and the latest developments at the Arab and Islamic arenas.
