Egyptian Pilgrim: Terrorism Killed 4 Members of My Family, King Salman Eased my Pain

Egyptian Hajj pilgrim Mustafa Hamdan speaks to SPA.

An Egyptian Hajj pilgrim condemned on Sunday terrorism that claimed the lives of his brother and three of his sons in a single attack, reported the Saudi Press Agency.

Mustafa Hamdan, 64, recounted to SPA how Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz’s offer to host the relatives of Egyptian police and military martyrs has “eased his pain.”

He said that he lost his relatives to terrorism during a November 24, 2017 attack in northern Sinai.

The terrorists had targeted worshipers during Friday Muslim prayers at the Rawda mosque, he said.

The Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program, which is supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, is tasked with hosting pilgrims invited by King Salman to perform the annual rituals.

Now in Saudi Arabia to perform the Hajj, Hamdan expressed his gratitude to King Salman for his kind gesture, highlighting his support to Egypt and its people.
