Egyptian blogger released from prison

Egypt's best-known blogger, Alaa Saif, was released from prison yesterday after 45 days without charge. Saif was arrested on May 7 after expressing his solidarity with reformist judges who are calling for the independence of judiciary and for election reform. His experiences in prison can be read on the site he runs www.manalaa.net with his wife, Manal Hassan. (Via hrinfo.net)
