Discussions focused on efforts to develop cooperation between Egypt and the United States in various fields, said Egyptian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez. They also agreed to maintain coordination over all issues of common interest.

They also stressed their ongoing close coordination in combating terrorism.
