Egyptian President Abdul Fattah al-Sisi landed in Jordan on Sunday for talks with King Abdullah II.
The monarch welcomed the president upon his arrival at Amman’s Marka military airport.
The leaders are set to discuss ways to bolster Egyptian-Jordanian ties, said Egyptian presidential spokesman Bassam Radi on Saturday.
They will also address regional affairs, especially the situation in the Palestinian territories, he added.
