Egypt hosted on Tuesday talks with the foreign ministers of Algeria and Tunisia to discuss the latest agreement reached between Libya’s rivals on holding elections.
Last week, Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Khalifa Haftar and Government of National Accord chief Fayez al-Sarraj agreed to hold elections in the north African country.

Egypt, Algeria and Tunisia periodically meet to discuss the situation in Libya.
The LNA recently took control of the southern border with Algeria, part of a campaign announced in January to "eliminate gangs, ISIS terrorists and criminals" in the South.
