Egypt has voiced its deep concern following Iran's recent launch of drones towards Israel, as stated by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a released statement on Saturday.
The ministry's statement emphasized the importance of exercising utmost restraint to prevent further instability and tension in the region.
According to the statement, Egypt views the current escalation in the Iranian/Israeli arena as a direct consequence of the warnings it has consistently issued regarding the risks associated with expanding conflicts in the region. This escalation is believed to be linked to the Israeli military actions in the Gaza Strip and other provocative activities in the area.
The ministry highlighted that it is actively engaged in ongoing communication with all relevant parties in an effort to de-escalate the situation and prevent further tensions.
