Eggs and stones thrown at houses in Nottinghamshire village as police appeal for witnesses

Police are on the look out after boys threw stones and eggs at properties in a Nottinghamshire village.

Officers have been called about several incidents of anti-social behaviour involving stones and eggs being thrown at properties in Bateman Road, East Leake, over two weekends.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: "At 5pm on March 31, three young males were seen running away from a premises having thrown eggs at the car and house windows.

"The males were described as around 14 years old one was wearing a yellow hoody, one a grey hoody and the other a black hoody .

"Did you see anything or have any CCTV? Do you think they may be your children ?

"Criminal damage has been caused to one property.

"If you have any information please contact 101 quoting incident number 667-31032019."
