EFL pundits predict outcome of League Two relegation fight as all six say Yeovil Town will go down

Sky Sports' EFL pundits have made their predictions for Notts County's fight for survival at the bottom of League Two.

The six experts were asked to make their predictions for who will be promoted and relegated in all three Football League divisions, with half of them tipping Neal Ardley's side for relegation.

Surprisingly, all six pundits believe Yeovil Town poor run will last long enough to see then relegated to the National League but none of them would entertain the idea that Crawley Town, six points above the drop, could be dragged into the fight.

Notts County survival chances dealt hefty blow as Macclesfield pull off surprise victory

Here is what they had to say on who stays up and who goes down...

Scott Minto:  "Macclesfield and Yeovil. Notts County will have the quality to get out of it. (At the top) It is a toss-up between Mansfield and Bury now for me, but the Stags have the momentum at the moment. Lincoln (1st) and MK Dons (2nd).

"Tranmere (will win the play-offs). They are the local side from where I was born, my dad keeps an eye out for them and I watched their play-off final last year. I would love to see them go up. I reckon they will beat Exeter in the final."

Danny Higginbotham:  "Macclesfield and Yeovil. Notts County will escape. Lincoln, Mansfield and Bury. They are on a poor run now but I think they will bounce back.

"Tranmere to beat MK Dons in the final!"

David Prutton:  "Macclesfield, Yeovil. It will go to the wire but I think these two will go down. MK Dons will recover from the disappointment of finishing fourth to triumph at Wembley, beating Tranmere.

"I feel like Bury will recover and Mansfield will edge out MK Dons. Lincoln, winners."

Ricardo Moniz returns to football with top flight job

Don Goodman:  "Notts County, Yeovil. I think Macclesfield could complete a remarkable escape under Sol Campbell.

"Bury will be disappointed not to finish in the top three but they have so much quality and that will see them through the play-offs. I think the top three at the moment will stick it out."

Andy Hinchcliffe:  "Yeovil and Notts County (will go down). Campbell will save Macclesfield.

"For promotion: Lincoln, Mansfield and Bury, who are on a poor run right now but they have the ability in their squad to recover. (For the play-offs) there isn't a lot between the sides in the mix so it is a bit of a coin toss. I'll go for Forest Green because it would be a great story."

Keith Andrews:  "Yeovil and Notts County. I think Campbell will keep Macclesfield up. Yeovil are in terrible form.

"Bury will get back on track and MK Dons should get over the line with the squad they have. Exeter   have snuck in there and I can see them beating Tranmere in the play-off final."
