EFL pundit in big Bristol City prediction after wins over Hull City and Derby County

Michael Brown has backed Benik Afobe to net 20 goals for Bristol City this season.

The deadline-day loan signing from Stoke City has helped the Robins to three wins in a row and scored a brace in yesterday's 3-1 victory over Hull City.

Speaking on Quest's EFL highlights show, Brown said Afobe could well be amongst the goals this season.

He said: "They did have to tough it out. To go and win at Derby is a magnificent result.

"To win again at Hull, Benik Afobe scoring again, he can score 20 goals this season."

Speaking to the club website after the victory, Afobe said he is feeling full of confidence for the Robins.

He said: "The manager said when I arrived he wants to get me playing the best football of my career and I know it has only been a couple of weeks but I am oozing confidence.

"The lads, from Taylor Moore and Nathan Baker at the back were unbelievable. They are playing their best football and I’ve seen it with other strikers here. I’m here to do my best for this club and hopefully come May we will be in and around where we want to be.

"It’s been two away games, two tough places to go at Derby on Tuesday and at the KCOM Stadium today. It was going to be a tough game for us. I’m always happy to score but most importantly with the win."
