EFL Cup semi-final draw in full: Tottenham vs Chelsea and Man City vs Burton Albion

Tottenham will face Chelsea over two legs in the EFL Cup semi-finals as Manchester City face Burton Albion.

Spurs won at the Emirates Stadium for just the second time on Wednesday to book their last-four spot as Chelsea sneaked past Bournemouth thanks to a late Eden Hazard strike. It is the fourth London derby for Spurs from four ties.

Holders City will face the League One side in the other semi-final. The ties will be played on the January 8th and 9th and 22nd and 23rd.

When asked for his thoughts about drawing Chelsea, Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino told Sky Sports: "It's another London derby.

"This will be our fourth London derby. We started the Carabao Cup against Watford, then we played against West Ham at the Olympic Stadium, tonight was Arsenal and now a semi-final against Chelsea.

"Chelsea is a great team and it's going to be very tough but we are excited."

City are holders, having beaten Arsenal in last season's final, which was their third triumph in five years.

Burton, meanwhile, have reached the last four of the competition for the first time after stunning Middlesbrough.

Spurs have reached the League Cup semi-finals for the first time in four seasons, when they went on to lose to Chelsea in the final. They will host the home leg at Wembley.

Chelsea have reached the semi-finals for the second season running. Chelsea last won the competition in 2014-15, ending an eight-year drought in the competition.
