EFL awards 2021: We want to know which player, manager and goal stood out most

2021 is almost at an end.

And with that in mind we are holding our very own 'EFL awards' for the year.

Looking at the last 12 months, we want to know who has caught your eye across all three divisions.

We've got three categories to pick from. The first is who is your Championship player of 2021? Of course, it could be someone who caught the eye in the second half of the 2020-21 campaign such as Emi Buendia.

The Argentine dazzled as Norwich City lifted the Championship title in the first part of the year. He scored nine of his 15 league goals after Big Ben chimed to bring in the new year.

Which three sides will be promoted out of the Championship this season? Let us know in the comments section

His performances not only earned the Canaries promotion but earned him a big money move to Aston Villa.

Another who caught the eye last term was Brentford's Ivan Toney. He broke the Championship goal record with 31 strikes, 15 of them coming after January.

Or perhaps you will opt for a player who has taken the second tier by storm in the first part of 2021-22? Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ben Brereton Diaz have been goal machines for Fulham and Blackburn Rovers respectively, with a whopping 39 goals combined as we approach the halfway point.

The second category on our list is the best EFL goal of 2021. This covers all three divisions and there is likely to be plenty of competition.

It could be Cole Stockton's outrageous goal for Morecambe against Fleetwood back in November. The striker found the net from inside his own half to secure a late derby win for the Shrimpers.

Or it could be a particular strike that your team scored way back in January, when crowds were not permitted in stadiums.

The third and final category asks 'who has been the EFL manager of 2021?'

Of course those who tasted promotion last season are likely to earn plenty of votes here. It could be Thomas Frank for the outstanding job he did in taking Brentford into the Premier League.

Or Derek Adams who led little old Morecambe into League One for the first time in their history.

Or you could even pick a manager who has excelled throughout the calendar year. Mark Robins at Coventry has built solid foundations, whilst Blackpool have enjoyed a fantastic year under the tutelage of Neil Critchley.

We want to know your views and you can easily lodge your vote by filling in the survey embedded in this article above.

Once the entries have filtered in we will reveal the three winners in each category.
