A Garda manhunt has been launched to find the culprits behind a burglary in Dublin city yesterday morning as an important clue was left behind.
A mysterious and eerie looking bloody footprint was engraved into the ground at Pearse House Flats yesterday as the area was closed off for several hours.
A throng of Garda officers manned the scene since early Tuesday morning as the hunt began for the burglars who are still at large.
One local told Dublin Live that "Gardai are all over the place" and that only those living in the flats have been able to gain access this morning.

A source told Dublin Live that both Pearse House and the nearby Markievicz House were searched by Gardai.
The source said: "There was blood found on the stairwell at Pearse House and Gardai were also conducting searches at Markievicz.
"During the searches, a bloody footprint was found just outside the arch on the main street."
A Garda spokesman confirmed to Dublin Live that investigations were ongoing and that nobody had been arrested yet.
He said: "Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at Pearse House at approximately 6:30am on Tuesday 17 November.
"No arrests have been made and no further information is available but investigations are ongoing."
