The Eels blitz the Broncos in a one-sided elimination final, laying on 11 tries without reply to set up a final against the Melbourne Storm in week two.
Parramatta had twice the possession of their opponents, and gained over 1,200 metres more than Brisbane, as the Broncos had a bitter end to the 2019 season.
It was the biggest winning margin ever in finals, and the biggest winning margin against Brisbane in the club's history.
In front of a record home crowd of 29,372, the Eels came out firing, scoring four tries in the opening half-hour to put the visitors in deep trouble.
It never got any better for the Broncos, who had to make nearly 150 more tackles than their opponents and were worn down by the fitter, faster, Eels, who charged into a semi-final against the Storm at AAMI Park next Saturday.
More to come.
