Eduardo Camavinga transfer crunch time as Manchester United bid depends on one key factor

Manchester United are waiting to decide on a potential bid for Eduardo Camavinga - with a "real chance" the midfielder could leave Rennes this summer.

The Ligue 1 club reportedly want between €30-35million for the teenager, who has reportedly been contacted by both United and Paris Saint-Germain.

Midfield has been widely highlighted as the position Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs to address if his side are to become serious Premier League title contenders.

And transfer guru Fabrizio Romano says United are waiting on settling potential outgoings - such as Jesse Lingard - before making a move.

He said on his YouTube channel: “He’s gonna wait for some proposal, Rennes want €30-35m for Camavinga. It’s an opportunity for many clubs but from what I’m told, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are the two interested in the situation.

“There is still no official bid from United or Paris Saint-Germain, so let’s see what happens in the coming hours. Both clubs had contacts with agents of Camavinga and with Rennes to understand about the situation.

“Manchester United are waiting to see what happens with outgoings and Paris Saint-Germain too, so for both clubs, it’s so important to understand what players will leave the club in the coming days to see if they can be in for Camavinga. Manchester United have to decide on Lingard, maybe on Van de Beek.

“They ( Manchester United and PSG) are really keen and interested. Camavinga has real chances to leave Rennes this summer. It’s an open race.”
