Mesut Ozil's move to Fenerbahce has left Arsenal with a major void to fill.
After weeks of speculation and even images of the 32-year-old arriving in Turkey, it was announced on Sunday afternoon that the attacking midfielder's time at the Emirates Stadium has come to an end.
Having not been included in Arsenal's 25-man squads for the Premier League and Europa League squads this season, it comes as little surprise that the former Germany international has opted to move on.
And Ozil's replacement could soon be announced as the Gunners are being heavily linked with a move for Real Madrid playmaker Martin Odegaard who looks set to join on loan.
But it's not necessarily about replacing Ozil as a player that is the talk amongst some Gunners fans, but rather who will take the No.10 shirt that he's now vacated.
Before Ozil's transfer to Fenerbahce was confirmed, football.london asked Arsenal fans on Twitter who they think should be the next No.10.
The options included Alexandre Lacazette, captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and Emile Smith Rowe. While fans had the option to vote for someone not listed.
And the winner by a landslide was Smith Rowe with 51.4% of the vote.
At one stage Jack Grealish was leading the vote, although any deal for the Aston Villa playmaker would have cost £100m according to the Telegraph.
Meanwhile, Harry Redknapp has urged the Gunners to sign the England international.
"I think they have to spend," Redknapp said to Morgan while speaking on the Harry Redknapp Show. "They are way off it, at the moment. They need to bring a bit of quality.
"Arsenal is a massive football club – take a Grealish. He needs to play at the bigger club."
So with Arsenal fans voting for Smith Rowe to become the next No.10, Edu can save the club millions in the transfer market.
