Edu's £20m target keen to join Arsenal as Daniel Ek's takeover bid intentions are clarified

Welcome to our football.london Arsenal daily round-up piece. Maybe not the first, we've definitely done transfer round-ups before, and European round-ups, so I guess in some ways it's not that new at all. Anyway, we thought we would enter the world of football in a broad and roundabout manner for you and have some fun with some of the stories and captions doing the daily rounds.

Noa Lang open to Arsenal move

The Daily Mirror has reported that Club Brugge’s, Noa Lang links with a move to Arsenal continue as it's said that he’s open to a potential move to the club.

The Netherlands player is valued at around £20million and has been impressive in the Belgian first division, scoring 22-goals last season.

Already having netted eight goals in nine matches the 22-year-old would be a good addition with creative nuance that some could argue Mikel Arteta’s side is in need of.

However, the Gunners have competition from the likes of AC Milan in a bid to win the players signature.

Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry on Sky Sports has said that Spotify owner, Daniel Ek’s interest in Arsenal ownership is here to stay: "To be able to get there, you need to have someone respond on the other side. It hasn't happened yet, but we and he is here to stay.

"So, let's see what's going to happen. But for the moment, we enjoyed the win yesterday.

"There's no dialogue at the moment and I feel it's going to be a long process. I said this the last time I was on the show [in May]. How long it's going to be, I don't actually know.

"But we are here to stay."

Arsenal’s leading goalscorer was seen with the Swedish billionaire at the Emirates, last week for the North London derby against Tottenham Hotspurs.

Arsenal fans and even some ex-players have publicly made their feeling about the current owners of the club, the Kroenke’s, be know - especially after the Super League fiasco earlier on in the year.

Daniel Elk has had the public backing of Arsenal giants like Henry, Dennis Bergkamp and Patrick Vieira.

Granit Xhaka pictured in leg brace

In a sight that Arsenal fans will not want to see, a picture showing Granit Xhaka in a full leg brace has been shared on social media.

Football London’s Arsenal reporter, Chris Wheatley tweeted the picture saying the results of a scan telling the extent of his injury is expected soon.

The Swiss international was injured in the late stages of the teams North London derby against Spurs after Lucas Moura collided with his planted leg.
