Here is your Arsenal morning digest for Sunday, March 21.
Berlin not exploring permanent Guendouzi deal
Bundesliga outfit Hertha Berlin are not planning on turning Matteo Guendouzi's loan deal into a permanent one this summer.
The Frenchman joined the German club on loan back in October for the duration of the 2020/21 season after falling down the pecking order at the Emirates Stadium.
After being dropped by Mikel Arteta towards the end of the 2019/20 season, it appeared best for everyone if Guendouzi left Arsenal on a short-term basis in a bid to get things back on track.
But despite impressing for Berlin, the Bundesliga club are not willing to entertain the idea of signing him on a permanent deal.
This season, Guendouzi 19 times for Berlin, netting two goals.

Gunners handed Coutinho boost
Arsenal's hopes of finally signing Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho could come true this summer.
The attacking-midfielder, who joined Barcelona from Liverpool back in 2018, was heavily linked with a switch to the Emirates Stadium last summer as Arteta searched for a new midfield architect.
However, no deal ever come to fruition after Coutinho was offered a new lease of life at the Nou Camp by Ronald Koeman.
However, Barcelona now face a potential dilemma. Coutinho is just ten appearances short of earning his 100th for the La Liga giants and that means that Barcelona would have to pay Liverpool an extra £20million as part of the deal that saw him swap Merseyside for Barcelona.
With that in mind, Barcelona could be forced to sell him this summer to avoid paying that fee, handing Arsenal a potential boost in their search to find a long-term successor for Mesut Ozil.

Youngster seals Gunners exit
Youngster Luke Plange has officially left Arsenal, it has emerged.
The striker, who is 18, had been heavily linked with an exit from the Emirates Stadium in the last couple of weeks after it emerged that he did not have a long-term future at the club.
Now, it has been confirmed that he has joined Championship side Derby County following a successful trial period with the club.
Posted on the RisingBallers Instagram page, as reported by Daily Cannon, Plange has signed a contract with the Rams after scoring against Manchester City's Under-18s.
Although Plange never fully established himself as an Under-18s regular for the Gunners, he has a bright future ahead of him, suggesting that he could, if all goes according to plan, soon make his way up through the ranks at Pride Park.
