Edu faces £100m transfer obstacle to sign Arsenal's next Bukayo Saka as Napoli set huge demand

Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar is facing a £100million transfer obstacle to sign the 'next Bukayo Saka' this summer. The Gunners look almost certain to qualify for the Champions League next season, allowing them to attract higher quality players as Mikel Arteta aims to strengthen his squad further.

The north London outfit's attack is one of the best in the Premier League with Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard all impressing this season. Saka repeated his success from last season as he recorded 10+ goals and 10+ assists once again with two goals and an assist against Crystal Palace last weekend.

Another player that has impressed immensely in their debut season is Napoli star Kvicha Kvaratskhelia. The Georgian winger has achieved the same success as Saka this season by registering double figures for both goals and assists after being signed by the Italian outfit for just £8million last summer.

Kvaratskhelia, nicknamed 'Kvaradona' after Napoli legend Diego Maradona, has caught the eye of top clubs across Europa following a stellar debut season in Serie A. 90min have previously reported that the Gunners are interested in the Georgia international, although he could cost up to £100million this summer.

The 22-year-old talent has scored 14 goals and providing a further 16 assists across all competitions in just 30 appearances. However, Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has claimed that the winger is not on the market this summer - admitting he doesn't know how much he is worth in this market.

“How much is he worth? He likes to talk about concrete things,” he told Sport Mediaset. “He’s not on the market at the moment, then I don’t know how much he’ll be worth.

"Time will tell what he’ll do in the future. He’s a great player and we hold on to him, then we’ll see what the future will say.”

Arsenal would need to offer a huge transfer fee to secure his services this summer if they want to partner him up with Saka. Both players have shown they are capable of creating and scoring goals, something not many players can do making them a valuable asset for any club.
