Rangers target Edson Mexer has been snapped posing alongside Steven Gerrard.
The 30-year-old Rennes defender is a key player for the Ibrox manager and director of football Mark Allen to add this summer.
Record Sport revealed the Mozambique international is wanted by Gerrard as he continues to build his squad for next season.
The Liverpool icon made the trip to Brittany last week to try and entice the Ligue 1 star to Scotland ahead of the new season, which is believed to be when the snap was taken.
