The editor of the news website Malaysia Today, Raja Petra Kamarudin, has started a two-year sentence under the country's internal security act. His detention was ordered after police claimed to have found "concrete evidence" that his website postings were prejudicial to the security of Malaysia. A minister said the articles "could arouse anger among Muslims." A candlelight vigil for RPK is to be held on Saturday. (Via nst.online)
