Edinson Cavani's brother and agent says the Uruguayan forward is not leaving the club despite the imminent arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo is returning to the club after 12 years away as United dramatically swooped in to sign the 36-year-old forward from under rivals Manchester City's noses on Friday.
Pep Guardiola's City had been widely expected to complete a deal for Ronaldo, who they turned to after failing to agree a deal for Tottenham and England forward Harry Kane.
Ronaldo informed Juventus of his wish to leave the club on Friday, and when he boarded a plane in Turin that was bound for Lisbon ahead of international duty, it was widely expected that he would undergo a medical with City and sign for the Premier League champions.
However, United muscled ahead in the deal and announced Ronaldo's return early on Friday evening.

" Manchester United is delighted to confirm that the club has reached agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa and medical," said the club in a statement.
"Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.
"In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.
"Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester."
There have been widespread suggestions that Ronaldo's arrival will see veteran forward Cavani leave, especially as the former Napoli and Paris Saint-Germain star occupies Ronaldo's favoured No.7 shirt at the club.
However, Cavani's brother and agent Walter Guglielmone has reported quashed those suggestions, insisting that Cavani will honour the one-year contract he signed in the summer and not head back to South America as had been rumoured.

South American journalist Andre Hernan tweeted: "Walter Guglielmone, brother of Cavani, assured me that no one from Corinthians or intermediaries sought him out for anything.
"He reiterates that Cavani still has one year of contract in England."
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer remains a huge fan of Cavani, and has stated that he is still in his plans despite giving him an extended break at the start of this season.
"Edinson’s always looked after himself, he said.
"Of course, he’s lacking in team training, in football training but he’s been looking after himself and you can see that.
"He had different reasons as to why he was late, personal reasons, but his body can tolerate a lot. It wasn’t that he needed those extra days physically.
"He’s chomping at the bit, he’s ready to go and let’s see how much we can get out of him early on."
